When she was found, she appeared significantly more anxious than her puppies.
A community member who regularly feeds her suggested an idea to capture the dog, reasoning that if they took her puppies, the mother would naturally follow them.

Following this plan, the puppies were placed in his car for a short 10-minute drive to Karlee’s home. Amazingly, the mother dog stayed faithfully by his side the entire journey.
They had to make frequent stops for water along the way, but in the end, everything worked out well.
Eventually, it took about a week for the mother dog to feel comfortable enough to enter the home. However, she was relieved to finally spend more quality time with her puppies once inside.
