Beibei, a small dog with a gentle spirit, lived in a harsh environment. Her days passed in isolation, without access to clean water. She depended on rain and morning dew for hydration. Her meals, if they could be called that, consisted of scraps and moldy leftovers surrounded by flies.
Her owner, frequently absent due to work commitments, rarely checked on her well-being. Left neglected, Beibei’s health deteriorated, dwindling to a mere two kilograms. By the time rescuers discovered her, she was incredibly frail, no more than skin and bones.

Despite her tough circumstances, Beibei’s demeanor was remarkable. Her eyes brightened with joy whenever anyone approached her. She greeted the rescuers—complete strangers to her—with an excited wag of her tail, eager for the affection that had long been missing from her life.
The rescuers expressed a desire to care for her, and her owner offered no resistance. As she left, Beibei cast a last glance at her home, the only world she had known, before quietly accompanying her new friends.

She was promptly taken to a veterinary hospital for a thorough examination and care. The team there gave her a much-needed bath and even shaved her matted fur. Throughout the process, Beibei remained calm and gentle, embracing the kindness she was yet to grow accustomed to.
Now, three months into her recovery, Beibei has gradually regained her strength. Her coat is growing back beautifully, and she’s putting on healthy weight. Most importantly, Beibei is experiencing love for the first time, learning the warmth of being cared for and cherished.
