While walking past a derelict house, a rescuer stumbled upon a surprising sight: three lone puppies gazing at her curiously. Observing their vulnerable state, she quickly deduced that they were without their mother and in desperate need of assistance.
Determined to help, the rescuer approached the wary puppies, who kept their distance. Understanding that they might be hungry, she offered them food, which they eagerly devoured, albeit returning to the safety of the abandoned house immediately after.

Realizing their mother was nowhere to be found, the rescuer decided she needed a new strategy to help the timid puppies. She returned later, hoping to win their trust with more food. Yet, each time she tried, stray dogs would quickly snatch the offerings, complicating her rescue efforts.
Over time, she successfully managed to catch two of the puppies and rushed them to a veterinary clinic for evaluation. Tests showed they were suffering from enteritis, and one puppy’s condition was especially concerning. Despite efforts to save her, the pup sadly passed away, leaving the team heartbroken.
With heavy hearts, the rescuers turned their focus to the surviving puppies and renewed their efforts to find the third puppy. Assisted by others, they set traps in hopes of catching her. They mistakenly captured a large dog, initially thought to be the mother, but soon realized she was not, as the true mother remained elusive.

Eventually, the third puppy was found and, to everyone’s relief, was healthy. Reunited at the shelter, the puppies, now named Athena and Esti, and their newfound canine friend, began to thrive. They quickly bonded with the shelter staff, growing more confident and playful each day.
Despite the initial challenges, the future looks promising for Athena, Esti, and their canine companion. Their days are filled with joy and anticipation of finding loving homes, thanks to the dedication of their rescuers who continue to care for and nurture them.
