Life as a stray animal is tough enough, but it becomes even more challenging when hostility from people is added to the equation. Although many people are compassionate towards animals, there are instances where some are not as kind.
In Los Angeles, a young stray puppy was having a hard time finding safety. Instead of calling for help, some locals chose to throw rocks at the puppy to chase it away from the area.

Thankfully, Lisa Chiarelli noticed the poor pup in distress and decided to intervene.
Chiarelli reached out to Lisa Arturo from Big Love Animal Rescue to alert her about the puppy’s plight. However, when Arturo arrived to rescue the dog, it was nowhere to be found.
As a proactive step, the rescuers instructed Chiarelli to place a blanket on her porch, hoping the dog might find refuge there, as reported by The Dodo.
To their relief, the next morning, the dog was discovered sleeping on the blanket. Severely unwell, the puppy was unable to walk and appeared to have given up hope.
The rescuers quickly realized the urgency of the situation and took him to a veterinarian.
The puppy was diagnosed with both a skin and an eye infection, and his condition was critical—his blood work was chaotic and immediate, extensive medical attention was needed.
Fortunately, with dedicated care, the puppy started to recover. His fur began to regrow, his scabs healed, and he gained weight. As his health improved, so did his spirits.
Eventually, the once-sickly puppy was nursed back to full health and was fortunate to be adopted by a loving couple. Although it took time for him to adjust to his new home, he is now a lively and affectionate dog.
He enjoys playing with his dog brother, adores his new parents, and has the pleasure of exploring a spacious garden at his new home.
