It was a heart-wrenching sight that greeted me early one morning as I drove down a wet road. There, I discovered Muhammad, an exhausted dog, lying on the roadside with her tail surrounded by insects.
She was clearly in distress, wanting to care for her puppies despite being almost entirely drained of energy due to a high fever.
Concerned for their safety, I began moving the puppies to my car. Muhammad was anxious as we gathered her little ones, but she seemed to relax once she settled in the car with them.
After giving them a bath and feeding them, we headed straight to the veterinarian. Fortunately, the puppies were in good health and returned home after being fed and examined.

However, Muhammad needed to stay for additional medical attention.
The veterinarian informed me that Muhammad’s condition was quite serious. She was severely dehydrated and underweight, often fainting from sheer exhaustion. Her health required diligent care and attention.

Determined to help them recover and leave behind the difficult days, I dedicated myself to caring for this precious family. Watching Muhammad and her seven puppies sleep peacefully, I was touched by the contentment on the mother dog’s face.
Their health became my priority, and with regular check-ups, they all received their vaccines. The puppies, around two months old, were cooperative during their exams, showcasing their sweet nature.

Looking ahead, I planned to find loving homes for each puppy, ensuring they would lead enriched lives filled with love and security. It wasn’t long before they were joyfully adopted by Mrs. Virginie, whose kind nature immediately won their affection.
Muhammad and her puppies had finally found their safe haven, a testament to resilience and hope—a serene moment following the storm.
